1. Pick the song, playlist, or album you want to download
The first thing you need to do is to open your YouTube Music player; make sure that you are a premium subscriber.
The next thing would be to find the song, playlist, or album you want to download on the player, for that you will be using the search tab on the app.
2. Start the download process
The second step is to start downloading the song, playlist, or album.
To do this, tap on the three vertical dots next to the song, playlist, or album.
Finally, select “Download” and the song, playlist, or album will start downloading immediately.
Additionally, you can turn on “Smart Downloads” on YouTube Music player, this allows the app to automatically download songs for you based on your listening history.
You can turn on “Smart Downloads” on the YouTube Music player by tapping on your profile icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
Then tap on “Downloads”, scroll down to “Smart Downloads” choose how much storage you want your downloaded music to occupy on your device, and then tap on “Turn On” to enable it.
