Psyonix has released patch v2.53 for Rocket League, launching Season 19 with a lineup of changes players should know about.
The update introduces a new Rocket Pass, centered around the Porsche 911 Turbo in various tuned-up versions.
Players can now unlock the 911 Turbo RLE as part of the premium tier.
Alongside this, a new arena variant, “Neo Tokyo: Hacked,” brings visual flair with subtle lighting adjustments and cyberpunk visuals.
Notably, the update includes several bug fixes and performance improvements.
Cross-platform play sees smoother matchmaking, and Quick Chat responsiveness has improved for some players on console.
Training packs now load more consistently, and a visual bug affecting Decals on certain cars has been resolved.
Competitive rewards for Season 18 are also rolling out.
Players will receive banners and goal explosions based on their highest achieved rank.
As usual, rewards will drop automatically upon logging in post-update.
Another feature added in v2.53 is the ability to preview Player Anthems directly from the Item Shop before purchasing, giving players more control over cosmetic choices.
With the launch of Season 19, Psyonix is clearly aiming to deliver both cosmetic and quality-of-life improvements.
The patch notes suggest a focus on polish rather than sweeping gameplay changes.
