If you are a Firefly main, get ready to smile.
A new leak from Reddit (user Luna) says that Firefly might get a buff in early 2026.
This is big news, especially for players who love Break teams.
Firefly came out way back in version 2.3 and there has not been a new 5-star Break DPS since then.
That is about ten updates with no new Break damage stars.
Because of that, Firefly and other Break units have dropped in usage.
Break meta is weaker now, but that could all change soon.
Why We Agree Firefly Needs a Buff
Even though Firefly is strong, she is a bit hard to build.
Right now, her damage scales with Break Effect and ATK, but she also needs a good amount of HP.
That makes building her tricky.
If the devs change her so she scales on just one stat — like full Break Effect or full HP — her damage would go up and she would be easier to gear.
What the Buff Might Be
The leak says buffs are likely coming, but here is what Firefly really needs:
- Change her scaling to only one main stat (Break or HP)
- Make her second Eidolon skill part of her base kit
That second Eidolon gives Firefly an extra turn when she breaks or defeats an enemy.
If that gets added to her normal skills, she will become way stronger.
Add that with better Break supports and Firefly could be top-tier again.

Firefly is still a fan favorite — she even got a new skin this patch.
If these buffs are real, Firefly mains will finally have a reason to keep building Break teams.
