How to Change Xbox One Wallpaper without A USB or PC

As I mentioned in the introduction section of this guide, you can change your Xbox One Wallpaper without a PC or USB, you can even use your phone to change it (which will be discussed below).

I also mentioned that there are about two ways to do this and I will be listing and explaining all three as much as I can below.

For the two (2) methods you will need to install the below on your Xbox One:

  • Install OneDrive (free), and
  • My Files Explorer (paid – less than $3)

However, before you can use “My Files Explorer” you will need to add a file called UserMgr0 to it.

This file will allow you to be able to open files on your Xbox One.

Step 1: Launch My Files Explorer on your Xbox One.

Step 2: Select the 3 dots at the top right corner of the screen and then select “Add folder to library” and then A.

Step 3: After that, click on the Xbox icon and then navigate to the “Select” button and click it and a new file, “UserMgr0” will be automatically created.

Note: The number “0” at the end of “UserMgr0” is not relevant, if you see a different number after you have created the file it doesn’t matter as it can be any number.
